Writing a press release
- Write a PR in English with HTML markup using framapad.org
- Spellcheck it and have a native speaker with PR background proof it
Translating a press release
- Slice it in small chunks and put it in a pot file.
- Put it up for translation on Launchpad
- Upload the pot file as a template in the OpenFoodFact Launchpad project
- Send a mail to the Launchpad translators mailing list
- Download the translated versions
- You'll get po files, one for each language
- Spellcheck it and have a native speaker with PR background proof it
Publishing the press release
- Ask Stephane to publish the exported HTML text.
- Send PR contacts the PR
- Publish it on partner websites.
