Open Food Facts is a collaborative project open to a lot of volunteers and addressing a large public.
Internal communication
There are different communication channel we use as a community:
- slack (a chat tool) is the most active communication channel, with a lot of sub channels. You can access it using this page.
- the forum is less active but enables a slow pace communication
- Github is also used for discussions by the Tech Team
See also the Forum for an explanation on the complementarity of these means of communication.
Public communication
Public communication happens on different mediums.
- the main website contains some general information about the project
- the blog, gives news on the project. Members of the community might propose blog posts.
- We have social media accounts that you can join
- We have press release and press kit (in progress)
- We also have some public email address, depending on request type, the main one is [[1]]
Be an actor of our communication to reach a large public:
- By sharing and relaying information
- By joining the Communication Team
- Presenting the project around you
