Writing a press release

  1. Write a PR in English with HTML markup using framapad.org
  2. Spellcheck it and have a native speaker with PR background proof it

Translating a press release

  1. Slice it in small chunks and put it in a pot file.
  2. Put it up for translation on Launchpad
    1. Upload the pot file as a template in the OpenFoodFact Launchpad project
    2. Send a mail to the Launchpad translators mailing list
  3. Download the translated versions
    1. You'll get po files, one for each language
  4. Spellcheck it and have a native speaker with PR background proof it

Publishing the press release

  1. Ask Stephane to publish the exported HTML text.
  2. Send PR contacts the PR
  3. Publish it on partner websites.
