Note Ton Distrib / Rate Your Vending Machine

What and why ?

In 2016, Open Food Facts went further in its consumer information approach. Thanks to the A/B/C/D/E color rating system established by Professor Serge Hercberg, everyone can see the nutritional quality of a food at a glance. The formula, which takes into account saturated fats, sugar, salt, fiber and the content of fruits, vegetables and nuts, was already applied to more than 20,000 products in our large collaborative database!

The “Rate your distro!” operation Â» allows both to raise citizens' awareness of the lack of diversity of distributors who too often offer poor quality products without a healthy alternative, but it is also an opportunity to clearly display the nutritional values of these simply without having to buy them!

How to participate?

  • Do you come across a vending machine on your way? Take a photo of it, from the front and well lit, and share the photo on Twitter/Instagram/Threads with the hashtag #NoteTonDistrib or #ScoreYourVendingMachine
  • We will send you back the photo of your distributor with the 5-color notes, which you can distribute in your company, university, and why not display on the distributor!
  • Easier then, you can use our Canva template, create your own visual, and post it yourself (tagging your company, university for added visibility)
